Based on government statistics The Consumer Price Index has increased 2.7 percent in the past 12 months. That's the largest increase since 2019. As firms continue to pass along the higher costs of materials, transport and other expenses our prices will continue to increase.

Wholesale prices for chocolate have risen by almost 10 percent. Many retailers are preparing for enormous price increases whenever their current stock runs 31, although we may not feel the pinch due to Spring and Easter school earnings.
